Science for our European friends

This morning students from different countries of Europe have arrived to our High School. They participate in Eramus + programme and they have come from Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland and  Slovenia.  Previously, our students had travelled to their countries. After the headmaster welcome, they have come to our laboratory. We have had some easy experiments with plants in order to show them pollen morphology. We are very pleased to have received them.
Later on, they have attended a very interesting opening speech. Entitled Vegetal stress, drons and robots, Dr Matilde Barón Ayala a researcher from the Estación Experimental del Zaidín (CSIC), has talked to the students about her research, mainly the study of damage in plants and the implementation of new methods for improving plants efficiency in agrarian science, like the use of robots and drons. A very interesting beginning for our European friends visit to our High School.

A brief exposition about pollen morphology.
